Hi,

There appears to be some bad information, at least from Wowhead. Only need these three pets to finish the PC purchases ... Child of Jani, Lil'Benton and Greatwing Macaw.

All factions (Horde) are EXALTED.

Nokano - Has no quests at his location. (55/35)
No relative information anywhere about him

Jani is not at the spot that is spelled out. (53/31)

Happy Holaua -- Does not have Child of Jani or Lil'Benton
Can not locate relative quests for it

Greatwing Macaw - Dana does not have him.
Relative quest Rodrigo's Bullshit has been done, and there are no further quests to go after in that area. All of the southern area and island has been done.

Anyone have any ideas? The co-ordinates, btw are not right ... when you cross the bridge from Dazar'alar in the NW area, the numbers change to a different set, and the ones to look for are not possible. That makes things worse. On the other side of the circle the co-ordinate numbers are different!

Child of Jani - You need to complete the achievement Get Hek'd before the pet will show up in Happy Holaua's inventory.

Lil' Ben'fon - You need to complete the quest chain starting from Cala Cruzpot before the pet will show up in Happy Holaua's inventory.

Greatwing Macaw - Alliance only if you're trying to buy from Dana Pull. Complete Rodrigo's Revenge and the pet should appear in Dana Pull's inventory.

Yeah, all the Wowhead comments about Nokano give you wrong coordinates. He's actually in the Zocalo area at 40.3 19.2. Just checked there on a toon that hasn't done any of the Get Hek'd achievement and was offered the Pests quest that starts it off.

Monstrous Matchmaker should start you on questline for Lil' Benfon.

Early days of BfA there was an occasional bug with Rodrigo's Revenge but this was supposedly fixed last summer. You might want to make sure that the character trying to buy the Greatfeather has indeed completed that quest (it's quest 49403).

Thx ... not sure about "Get Heck'd" but I did do the first part and did not chase the big one.

Monstrous Matchmaker ... done. Lil'Benton is showing now.

Found the trash pile and got to Nokano ... now ... nothing! Not sure what to go after next. Looking up GET HECK'D ... but Wowhead did not have anything on it, except a list of quests ... checking those now. Got one done (Nesingwary's ... helps if you scout the area first, btw!). 11 to go ...

Dana ... ooopppss ... sorry mentioned that one incorrectly as it is Alliance, not Horde. And I was checking it with my Horde Hunter forgetting that Dana is Alliance. Have to use either my mage or druid for that one. I'll let you know how that goes.

BTW, the "account bound" information is not totally correct when considering that you can have several accounts in one login/account. The Horde account is separate from the Alliance account when it comes to being able to share the ability to GET the pets ... Ex: The Accursed Hexxer was available to my Horde character, but NOT to my Alliance character. So I did the quest (easy enough!) and then my Alliance character now can see the Accursed Hexxer. As far as playing them, almost all of them are trully account bound, with a couple exceptions here and there.

Long time since I did the Get Hek'd, but looking over Wowhead comments sounds like you have to complete Pests, including the Big One part, then do a quest so horrible that I still remember it well, Curse of Jani (cheers you up a bit to read the 51 forum comments on that quest, realize you're not only one to have yelled bad words at your monitor).

That should open up the 12 quest questline that'll give you all the items you need for Get Hek'd. Starts with The Great Hat Robbery. Although if you did get the Nesingwary one, seems like you've gotten that questline. Who knows with mysterious way Blizzard designs these things. I found comments on some of these quests to be way helpful when I got stuck on a few of them.

Just got it finished ... mannnnn ... that was one long haul!

Now gonna get Druid on Alliance and see if I can get the Macaw!

The Greatwing Macaw, looks like it's not going to be a pet that I can get, unless I can buy it ... too spendy, though!

Both my Druid and mage, now have the flight path from Rodrigo, and there are no quests anywhere to be gotten, and Rodrigo himself has nothing to say.

Notes state that this was fixed, but maybe the quest is given in the South Pole ... not in Tiragarde Sound. Very disappointing, and of course, there is no information anywhere to help figure it out. Just like the Jani quests, it is not clear how to get it started and than after that you have to go after 12 trash piles to get the rest of the quests ... a conclusive write up would make serious sense ... and then there are things like Rodrigo's lie and his cohort ... Dana the As#hole that doesn't have the pets he is supposed to after the quests, if (IF) they exist.

At this point on both Druid and Mage (same account), they have no pets at all, and there is no lead as to where to go to be able to get a quest series done to acquire the pets. Again, my guess is that these are no longer available, or the quests have been removed.

Rodrigo's Revenge seems to be about 40 quests into the Tiragarde questline, think it's actually a sidequest, not required to complete Tiragarde Loremaster. Wow forum for A Sound Plan achievement has a couple posts that list all the steps. As usual, no way to know which are mandatory and which are optional.

Having gotten another Greatwing fairly recently, sort of by accident, one key step seems to be completing all the Castaway Point quests then escorting a drunken Flynn Fairwind to Freeport. No idea how far your Alliance guys are into Tiragarde but you may be closer than you think. I'd sure go with Druid instead of Mage, easy to lose pirate disguise, if you had one, and then stealthing will save you.

And BTW, Gratz on getting Child of Jani. I didn't have the heart to warn you that you weren't going to knock that one out in hour or two

Gave up looking since I doubted that a GM would help. All 3 of my Ally's had done a complete southern area in Tiragarde, so it kinda made no sense for me.

My neighbor's account had not done things beyond Castaway, so I took him there and got it done, and he got me one parrot and got himself a parrot too! Wasn't bad! And they sell for 85K on Draka? Ohhhh my goodness ... I think I'm gonna have some fun!

No biggie ... that part I did not mind ... it was having to go everywhere that was not fun. After the first two of them, the rest is easy!
