Darting Hatchling from Amalgam in Siege of Orgrimmar

Yesterday I was running Siege of Orgrimmar for transmog and mount possibilities and the Darting Hatchling dropped form the Amalgam of Corruption. I wouldn't have even noticed but the person I was running with pointed it out in the chat log, I looked in my bags and indeed it did drop.
I couldn't find any information on why I got it from there, so I put in a ticket, just received a response and they said it does drop from that boss and stated that it was working as intended:

I took a look into Brindisi and I could see that Darting Hatchling
was received from Amalgam of Corruption ,=)
I found that Darting Hatchling dropped from another NPC as well. So apparently he is and around https://www.wowhead.com/item=48112/dart ... g#comments
Internal , we do not have any drop problem related to him so, I think is working as intended.
