I just tried to trade a caged Muar to somebody, and it said they were not eligible for the loot. I listed it in the AH, and my trade partner could not see it listed. They also did not see the same Muars listed that I could see on the AH (and I did not see some of the Muars listed that they could see). I have not done the raid at all, but I guess they had? Does anyone understand the limitations on trading these new raid pets? Are the versions of Muar that showed up for the other person on the AH from a different raid difficulty? Are the pets from the different difficulties in any way different? Or is this some weird early patch bug? Thanks for any insight you can provide

Yes, we were both on the same realm.
At least I assume so - both of us were standing next to each other in the same AH while not in a group. That has to be the same realm, correct?

No, not necessarily. If an area is low in population you can get temporarily placed with others who are also in the same low-pop area. If a name appears as [name]-[server name] then you're not on the same server. Example: My name would show as "Quintessence-Proudmoore"

You would just need to create a character on your friends server then cage the pet from your collection to trade it.

Ahhh thank you for the clarification. That's probably what was going on. You can tell I haven't done much trading in a while
