Can other players see your Battle Pet in Battlegrounds?

I love collecting transmog and pets but I also love PvP.

I was just wondering if people can see my Battle Pets in Battlegrounds like WSG or AC.

If they can't then I might reconsider collecting other pets to match my PvP set

It's my experience, that they can.

Yes, people can see your summoned battle pet in battlegrounds. I play arcane mage (no pets) so I sometimes have fun summoning a water elemental battle pet when I'm alone defending a flag. Not sure if someone ever tried to target it though.
