has anyone managed to get the pet?

Quite a few of us have found the beaver dam, hang around for the beavers to drop the movable sticks and...

nothing. The clickable cogwheel never shows up so you're unable to move the sticks to free the pet so you can then battle and tame it.

Those who have, what do you think happened differently, or are the rest of us missing something?

thats how i got mine. though it was during the first few days. so maybe a patch happened. I will check the spot on my main. I was able to see a couple spawns of him when i was first collecting.

i went to /way 71.6 74.0 in the plains and summoned him directly by clicking on the sticks on the dam.

make sure you dont have any aoes, i think you could kill him before you can free him.

That was the spot I went to as well. I logged in this morning and checked again. I still can't interact with anything there.

So maybe something was patched and this broke. I'm on Doomhammer US

But I logged in at the spot this morning after the reset and...the cog worked.

So anyone who still needs this pet? Log out at the spot before maintenance. Log back in, if the beavers are up pull them FAR away from the logs and kill them. Then click on the cog.

As soon as I logged in there, I saw the cog.

And again, be sure to pull the beavers far far far away from the logs. It would really not be good to finally be able to rescue and tame Timbertooth and then lose him to aoe
