Gathering pets is slowing down

I recently passed 1425 unique pets. The grind now feels more difficult. I know that I am closer to another 25-50 pets, but the grind is getting harder. I enjoy world quests and some light mythics. How do you stay on the grind to get more pets?

As you get closer to the top of the list the grinds exponentially increase in difficulty. You just have to be happy finding the level you can get to and still have time for other things. (I say this more as a mount collector, I can't stop when it comes to pets.)
Just take pride in the difficult pets, not everybody has them.
