has blizz stated whether or not theyre going to change the current pet charms to something else or leave them as is, come the pre patch for the war within? I haven't seen anything yet, but I wanted to make sure I didnt miss anything

From everything we've seen on TWW Alpha so far, it currently looks like Polished Pet Charms will continue to be the currency for Pet Battles. And I haven't heard any talk on Blizzard's end about changing the currency. Keep in mind that things are subject to change prior to the expansion's release, we'll just have to wait and see.

Shame that for the 67 pets available from vendors during Dragon flight only 7 where for Polished Pet Charms.
