I'm farming the spirit pets. Haven't found one yet, but I am accumulating a lot of souls.

Since they are soulbound, what do you do with all of them?

I see it has taken some people 50-100 tries before the pet drops. That's a lot of souls to sit in your inventory.

I never did much with them, but they're reagents for various profession recipes so you could probably put in work orders with them. Alvin the Anvil, for example, requires an Earthen Soul, and I've seen work orders for that pet a few times.

List of crafting recipes for each (not sure if every single one can be sent in as a work order though):

• Earthen Soul recipes
• Airy Soul recipes
• Frosty Soul recipes
• Fiery Soul recipes

Three weeks later, I have all the pets

17 souls from the Fire Elemental before the pet dropped

I had collected 25 Earthen souls before I realized the pet was already in my stable. Not sure how or when I got him, but I sure was glad I didn't have to battle them anymore

33 Frosty souls before the pet dropped. I had logged out of my engineer for the 15 minute cooldown and was checking alts on other servers. I bought a Tide spirit for 60K on Gallywix. When I logged back into my engi to open the soul, another Tide spirit dropped. Weird luck

46 Airy souls for the last pet to drop.

I have looked at the list and most of the recipes are for armor I can't use. The toys don't sell. And my BS doesn't have the Alvin recipe. Guess I'll be selling one toy a year and leaving the souls in the bank.
