Discord pet (Parrlok)

Hi all, anyone else not being able to complete the discord quest for the Parrlok pet? I have a Mac and I get a message saying the quest cannot be completed on macOS...

Do you guys know whether missed pets on discord/twitch promotions eventually get recycled so that you can obtain them through other promotions or events?

On the reddit thread, it was discussed that MacOS users were having issues with it. Not sure if there is a fix or not.

So far, Twitch promos either use old TCG pets or totally new pets, but they have not yet cycled Twitch promo pets to be available in other ways.

Thank you @Darkchyld for your reply! Hopefully they do make these promotional pets available again in other ways. It seems to me unfair that a pet becomes unobtainable just because we happen to have macOS or because we cannot redeem a code on Twitch.

I kept getting bumped to the "How To" article on the Blizz site then I had an idea... rare, I know, but it happens.

Went to the Twitch Inventory page - do not click in this pet but anything earlier if you are using the notification dropdown to navigate.
Now click on Redeem - it will give you a popup.
- DO NOT click on it or you will be forwarded to that dreaded page again -
Now highlight, copy the code.

Go to your warcraft launcher where you sign in - do not launch the game yet.
Under the top right icon for your account, look at the dropdown menu.
There should be a redeem about halfway down - click on redeem
Now you get a page where you can paste your code and confirm account and realm.

Congratulations, you now have a blue level 1 green ghost owl.
