I am quite new to battle-pets.... I have no idea what pet if any are good to use this on that I have.

Any help would be great!

Best bet, either a humanoid pet you use a lot, or, wowhead it. they always have a list of pets that always come as uncommon. Like vendor pets or quest rewards. ones that you cant catch as rare.

Curious Wolvar Pup is a decent upgrade.

I agree with the curious wolvar pup. That would be a good choice.

I ended up using mine on on a Kun Lai runt because I wanted the 4/14 id and I could only find him in poor quality and was tired of farming him.

It probably wont be your last Flawless Humanoid Stone, so you don't have to panic about making a wrong choice. Also, I have stashed some in my bank for later. No need to spend it as soon as you get it.

Used mine on Peddlefeet. He is awesome against Dragons. Love his unique move set.

Flayer Younglings are superb and also a huge pain to camp so while you *could* catch a rare one of the right breed (I prefer breed 4 aka all power) it's far less aggravation (though can still take a while) to just get the breed you want and then stone it.

Ya Peddlefeet is a great choice too.
