I've seen lots of posts where people say how many kills it took for a particulr drop - how do you track this after you run out of fingers & toes?

Is there an add on, another cunning way or tally charts?

I prefer to use [url=http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/rarity]Rarity[/url] to track kills for pets/mounts; it has a user-friendly interface and is pretty non-intrusive.

Like Tryla pointed out, Rarity is a great addon. If you're tracking stuff for fishing, the addon to get is Fishing Buddy.
