Are Crocolisks an Endangered Species?

Are Crocolisks an Endangered Species? OK, not the way you might think. Specifically, I'm talking about the four Crocolisks you can get from the [url]http://www.wowhead.com/quest=11665[/url] Crocolisks in the City quest in Terokkar Forest. The drops are Chuck's Bucket, Muckbreath's Bucket, Snarly's Bucket, and Toothy's Bucket.

My question is, once you have gotten a specific Crocolisk on one particular character, does that bucket ever drop for that character again? I started running my high-level alts through it to farm the buckets for cross-server trade. The initial yields were between 25% - 50%, but lately they've tapered off to few or none. I haven't recorded which character got what, so I thought I would ask if anyone knows if they've gotten the same Crocolisk on a single character or not?

At one time I believe they were only one per character... this was done to increase chance of getting a pet you did not have... this should have changed with pet battles but I would not be surprised if it feel through the cracks.

I haven't done the croc daily since before the 5.0 patch, but before then, you could easily get a pet that you already had. It was upsetting to have to get rid of a bucket on a character who already had that pet, when an alt didn't know it yet. They had upped the drop rates of the crocs, but there was nothing in place that would make sure the croc from the daily was new for you.

Yep I had duplicates back before pet battles. VERY fustrating to have to throw them away. It did take me an absolute to get the last one I needed though.

There were duplicates back in the day, I kept them in my bank Now I have extras!

You can still get them, I randomly remember to check for that daily, two days ago, it was there, I did it on 3 toons, and was rewarded with Chuck's Bucket.
