PP/SS/BB/HH Pets Which Is Better
Ok, i know i saw a major write up on this before with explanations, im currently out and about updating my pets recapturing, improving my stables etc, and for the life of me, i cant find the write up that explained which was better and for what reason, if possible could someone repost it? or perhaps make it a sticky so people who like me are losing their minds can easily locate it? i have found a few articles with people who use the numbering way with comments like " i use a 12" which to a old man like me, means nothing, i like the simplicity of speed power health balance, many thanks (edited due to fat thumbs which make me have many typos)

For simplicity sake, you're safest going with P/P or variations thereof.
Power pets are, almost without exception, the best you can use.
However, the exceptions are fairly strong:
S/S can be very useful in PVP, as well as for certain move sets that benefit from it.
There are also certain tamers (Payne at the Argent Tournament) who are very difficult to defeat without fast pets.
There's also a lot of theorycrafting revolving around break-even points for Health vs. Power.
But for the simplest, easiest-to-understand, "this is what you want to do" explanation?
Power increases everything: damage, heals, shields - you name it, Power enhances it.
Therefore, 90% of the time, a Power variant will be the best you can get.
And the other 9.99% of the time, the Power variant is not the worst you can get.

Re: PP/SS/BB/HH Pets Which Is Better
Many thanks for the quick replay, the PP i have been farming a lot lately, though if i get a ps, or sp or ss i value them as well, i was leaning more toward the pp as a better choice but wasn't sure, as i stated someone earlier when i joined this site had a elaborate write up that was very handy and started me looking at my pets a lot closer, finally realized that i should bookmark the interesting articles i find, don't know why this dint occur when i first found it, heheh, at least i feel im on the right path now

ADDONS
Pet Journal Enhanced:
PJE is a basic overhaul of the PetJournal, and it adds a lot of great features, including the ability to only display duplicates.
PetTracker:
PetTracker is the equivalent of Gatherer or Gathermate, but for Battle Pets.
It allows you to display all pets, or just the ones you don't have, or just the ones you don't have a Rare for.
It also shows opponent abilities and cooldowns during battles, so you can keep track of what the other side has.
Battle Pet Breed ID:
This is for advanced tamers who are interested in specific breeds of pets.
This addon not only displays the breed ID of your pets, it displays the breed ID of opposing pets as well.
It also allows you to see all possible breeds available for an individual pet.
Daily Tamer Check:
With dozens of pet battle dailies available to tamers, it can be difficult to keep track of which ones you're doing.
This addon not only shows the location of each tamer, but it also shows whether you've completed the daily for that tamer or not.
Pet Battle Teams:
Once you start doing Tamer Dailies regularly, this addon will become invaluable. It allows you to setup pre-made teams and choose them from a list.
It also places your heal and bandage buttons at the bottom of the list for quick access from the pet screen.
