Kind of disappointed in the list. Sounds like a lot of recolors of existing pets. Curious what the Filthling and Living Fluid are. Gahz'rooki could be interesting, depending how they do it.

Not sure I can manage to win 250 PVP battles through the Find Battle system at level 25 to actually win the Direhorn. But man, that Val'kyr is awesome. Here's hoping the "elusive" doesn't mean we have a new Minfernal/Scourged Whelpling on our hands.

I wish you were right, but Mumper has said repeatedly that Murlocs are reserved for special events.

That was originally my thought, and then I was thinking naga. Till I thought about the boss's name. A smaller version of Tidewalker, just might be a tideskipper. Its what seems to make the most sense.

Okay, so we have Direhorn Runt on the list here. Over in the "Get ready to PVP thread", it lists earning a Stunted Direhorn as a reward for Brutal Pet Brawler. Are we thinking this is a case of 2 names, one pet? Or should I get my hopes up for 2 different hnnnng worthy pets to add to my collection?

That's what I thought too at first, since there are tainted elementals in Vashj's fight. But the only fen striders in SSC are part of the Vashj fight, so the stalker must come from her. And then Hydross himself is a tainted elemental, so that would make sense for the waveling instead.

Most definitely. He summons abyssals, and the subzone of Kara that you fight him in is Netherspace.

I was thinking Fathom-Lord because the hunter had a Strider as his pet, I thought. It's a Sporebat now that I checked!
