quick question. i had found the dragon kite pet a couple of years ago in a card pack. i have it in game and it wont let me use it as a combat pet. my question is, why is there a combat pet being sold in AH that is called a "dragon kite" and looks EXACTLY like the one i have? is this a glitch or did they decide to make another version that can combat instead of turning into a combat one?

Sounds like a glitch. When you scroll over it, do you see combat stats?

It is sellable by caging, so I'd assume the dragon kite and Tuskar kite show up under the battle pets tab on the AH with made up stats.

Pretty much what they said. I have a dragon kite and <3 it. But while it is in my pet journal and is cageable, it has a message that it can't fight, rather than abilities etc. I suspect they decided that the model was too unwieldy for combat animations but they wanted people to be able to sell it, like the other TCG pets. I've opened up the idle animation in a 3D app and it's much, much larger than most.

Very sad, I wanted to see mine snatch up a Winter's Helper and drop it
