I kinda doubt these will be out of stock forever. Once more plushies are in stock, they'll start selling them again. The plushies are likely the only reason the cub is out of stock atm.

Pretty sure this will eventually find its way to the digital store.
Just as with everything Blizzard does it takes a loooong time.

Sigh..why not sell it without the toy? I would snap up the pet from the Blizzard store...but I do not want a toy to gather dust in my overfull house!

I agree they should just sell it without the toy but all of you are forgetting one thing about Blizzard. Blizzard loves rare. Whenever any toy has run out of stock have you ever ever seen them restock it? Nope. Again I agree they should just leave the toy rare and release the pet on the site... Again I hate to be a bummer but I just don't see them releasing it again. Get it on eBay while you can.

AFAIK they have restocked both the Gryphon and Wind Rider at least once.

I also love the fact that the GM makes out it's the decision of the developers.
GM: "Hey Ghostcralwer, great work nerfing warriors, and the green fire thing for locks, genius.."
GC: "Kinda busy here buddy, we're working on a new animal for mages to polymorph into, so get to the point"
GM: "Sure, sure, ok, it's just, have you and Ion got your heads together yet and decided when we should restock the Wind Rider plushies in the pet store?"
GC "................."

I wonder if I am the only one who thought this was about making the wind rider cub model as wild pet in game like the gryphon is.
