Why does warcraftpets show I have 513 unique pets but my pet tab in WoW only show 503?

Hmm 10 does seem like a big gap. The WoW count will not include: opposing faction pets like argent squire/gruntling, guild pets that the specific toon did not purchase like guild page, and will only give you credit for one of your two moonkins. There may be others.

So my unguilded mule does not get credit for either factions' guild pages/heralds, my argent gruntling, one moonkin etc. So my "total" looks different on him. Even my #2 toon only bought the page, so her count is less as well.
