Has anyone seen the Scary Sprite spawn? I was hanging around the sprites and did the event myself once, and I saw it done several other times, but I never saw the Scary Sprite spawn.

Is there some trick to making it appear or is it just random that it spawns during an attempt of the event?

I've seen the Scary Sprite spawn once. I was in the party but none of the three of us got the pet. A guild member said he'd done the event earlier and the Scary Sprite didn't spawn that time, even though he had killed almost all of the smaller sprites. When the Scary Sprite did spawn, most of the smaller sprite were still up, so I don't think it depends on how many of the smaller ones you kill. So it must be a random spawn, unless it's not working as intended.
