Hello all!

Blizzcon is right around the corner. As far as I know, I'm the only admin going this year. I'm planning two official meet ups, one each day, and then if people want to meet up that live in Cali but aren't going to Blizzcon we can do that too.

You'll know me around the convention center by the WarcraftPets.com Admin shirt I'll be wearing. I'm not a scary person so feel free to come up and say hi to me. I'm always up for talking about pets, WoW in general or any topic I know about (Please, nothing mathematical!). I'd love to know who else is going so I can put some faces to names! Chime in below and if you live near Anaheim but aren't going to Blizzcon, let's hear some ideas on a place to meet up (I'm not comfortable with your basement, sorry!) for non-ticket holding site members.

I will be going with my wife. Shes not as big as pet battler as I am.. But will be cool to meet another pet lover!

I'm actually quite jealous at you all! I'm from The Netherlands and it's just a no-go when it's about Blizzcon. Would be awesome to go there sometime, but right now i just lack the money and lack the time...

Not scary??? Way cool. Love to meet up if possible. Even though I live a few minutes away unfortunately we weren't able to get tickets. SO if we haven't gone to AZ for a visit it'd be cool to meet up with other guildies and peeps.

There's alot of great places to go. Let me know what type of place your looking for. I can give some suggestions.

Awesome stuff.

Looking at those original battle pet pictures, will you be in a position to ask devs questions?

I'd love to know why the LORE button on each pet was not included (and whether there's any chance we will see this again?). This would make collecting each pet even more special to learn about it!

I remember the original announcement said we'd learn moves from the tamers. I still want the shark punch on the screenshot!

At this point, I'm not sure I would want that. If only because of having to go all over all of the world (of warcraft) and maybe needing to beat all the tamers again to get those moves unlocked.

I will keep a lookout for you. I will be wandering around with a Murky and a stuffed Dory (Long story, but I take pics of the two of them whenever I go on a trip

It was great meeting doobjanka and angelwings626 today at the M&G. I was the red head with the beard.

Haven't heard much of anything about pets, but was also in some Diablo panels today. Will also try to make it to the other M&G tomorrow. Us pet people gotta bond!

(Which reminds me, need to create an alt on you right server to get into the warcraftpets guild

Would have loved to be there for the meetup but work in Africa and living in Portugal makes it very hard to get there. Maybe some day...

As for Blizzcon news about pets it was a bit lackluster. The only thing i got was a tweet from @Mumper (Cory Stockton) from Blizzard saying the following:

.@perksnpeeves @gloriaboboria current plan is you can merge two pets of the same family and pick the breed. Doing this gives chance at epic.

Anybody got anything else?

As for this tweet the only thing cool about it is the possibility to get epic pet. But this way i don't agree. Feel free to comment
