They mentioned build a garrison for ypur pets

Sounds to me you will be able to display select pets in your garrison.

Hey all. I'm guessing nothing pet battle ground breaking will be making it into the new expansion. My guess is the garrison feature will be the casual time killer for this expansion.

They said at the WoW panel that having a bunch of your pets running around your Garrison is something the are/will consider. So with how they answered the question I'm assuming it's not implemented yet but is something they may do. I hope they do implement it sooner rather than later.

Cory Stockton just said on the Gameplay panel that one of the buildings for the Garrison will be a Pet Stable, with a trainer to fight. No additional details.

This video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8QkNTC22qAs at 31:47 says the next blizzard store mount will be the feydragon mount and it will be released with with a pet for the make a wish foundation. He would not disclose what the pet will be, but I hope hope hope it is a feydragon too!

Its most certainly the [pet]Alterac Brew-Pup[/pet], as its a lined up to be a store pet.

Garrisons

Smaller buildings: Alchemy Lab, Smithy, Enchanter's Study, Engineering Works, Scribe's Office, Salvage Yard, Storehouse, Tailoring Studio, Jewelcrafting, and the Tannery.
Medium buildings: pet stable, trading post, lumber mill, barn, and inn. Pet stable will let you breed pets, there's a trainer to fight.
Large buildings: barracks, infirmary, armory, stable, academy, mage tower. These are the Warcraft III buildings and they are the most important. Barracks increases followers you can have, etc. In a way this is literally the macro side of Warcraft III put into a MMORPG.

i hope it true that we can breed our pets mayb we get to make new species of pets too

Cory Stockton mentioned in the "Ask Anything" panel that they feel good about the base that they've built for pet battles, and their focus in Draenor will be on the collecting aspect of it. So, more new pets, new tamers to fight, and again mentioned the pet stable in player Garrisons as a means of getting Epic pets. He used "maybe", so it sounds like it's still something they very much want to do and are working on.

Just heard a reply to a question that refer-a-friend will be back next week!! New pets!!

"current plan is you can merge two pets of the same family and pick the breed. Doing this gives chance at epic."

Sounds like breeding will be for mostly wild pets only then. Only few dropped pets come in multiple flavors.

Hrm, time to look at all the wild pets for powerful ones to breed.

Emerald Proto-Whelp immediately stands out as one that should benefit extremely well from being epic.

Jade Ooozeling should also get interesting.

Snails should get even more resilient and tanky, pushing 2000hp.

I foresee lots of crows, lots of them.

Jade owl should also be useful.

Oh yes, yellow moth and skywisp moth.

I have already started thevprocess of collectingv3 of most pierful breed each and I now have 800
And there is still alt to capture.

Aldo 8t would be nice to increase the max pet of each family beuond 3
Say minfernal has 8 breeds and I would keep at least one breed each
Anyways it wont be a bad idea to have an epic flauer who can reflect
An epic sss fff who has wind up and scourge whelping etc

I'm loving some of these ideas for getting epic pets. There's so much potential w/ the garrison. Being a softl gamer I do prefer the idea of breeding or fighting tamer for epic pets. And I just love my lil Spartacus
