Rare Spawn Wild Pets,

So, I'm out trying to update my NPC Scan with Rare Pets, but I really can't find a list. The term "Rare" focuses on quality instead of on spawn rate. Does anyone know of a list of those?

Sounds like what you're asking for is a somewhat subjective thing. Any pet can come in "rare" quality, but if you mean ones that tend to be rare in quantity, there is no definitive list.

Minfernal, Scourged Whelpling, Baby Ape, Silithid Hatchling are fairly certain to be on anyone's list though.

Minfernal - Ridiculous Spawn Rate, heavily farmed during server resets
Scourged Whelpling - Ridiculous Spawn Rate, heavily farmed during server resets
Silithid Hatchling - Sand Storms
Arctic Fox - Snow Storms
Baby Ape - Rain Storms

Are those it at this time?

I'd include the fel flame in shadowmoon. the spawn rate isn't as bad as the minfernal/whelpling, but it's still heavily camped.
maybe the restless shadeling too.

Totally subjective but if I were making a list when I first started I'd also include in addition to what's been said already:

Spawn of Onyxia
Giraffe Calf
Flayer Youngling
Sporeling Sprout
