Question for veteran pet collectors

can anyone tell me what the ! on pets means? i have seen both yellow and blue ones. a member of a guild im in said to click on ones like that but ive tried left and right clicking and nothing happens. any help would be appreciated.

if that ! is on when you're battleing them, means that you have an addon that tells you that that particular pet is an improvement from the one you already have or don't have, so you better catch it!

If you don't have it, you will see a dice icon

It would help if you could explain where you see this on pets? The only example I know of where there are BLUE and YELLOW exclamation marks on pets is if you have the Pet Tracker addon installed.
http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/pettracker#t1:screenshots (Screenshot 8/10) the Spring Rabbit has a blue "!"
This means that this pet is only available as part of a world event (Noblegarden).
A yellow ! means that this pet is attainable when you complete a normal quest
