Sky lantern question

Can the Sky Lantern be stoned to rare quality? I'm trying to obtain/stone all my pets to rare quality but I can't seem to get this one to take a stone. Horse/Alliance Balloon, Argent Squire/Gruntling non battle pets have taken stones just fine. Any insights would be appreciated.

Believe me I try stoning it every so often in hopes that it'll finally take, but so far it's still no.

Thanks for the link. At least they changed it to not consume stone(s) if it doesn't upgrade.

I stoned my Argent Squire and Gruntling, but have not tried anything else.

The Sky Lantern is still not fixed. It's not even considered a real pet yet I think. Probably won't be fixed before WoD.
Every other non-battle pet can be stoned though.
