Lil Raggy's Flamethrower

Post by Waflob » December 14th, 2012, 5:37 am

Hi all
I recently got hold of a Lil Raggy and decided to level him up a bit.
Anyway, the description of Flamethrower says

"Turns the battlefield into a raging inferno, dealing 51 Elemental damage.
Fire continues to burn the enemy team dealing 17 Elemental damage each round for 2 rounds."

I'm not seeing any damage to the backrow pets, only the active one. Is this a bug, or is the description misleading?

Never really read the tooltip before, but he usually just hits the primary pet, and leaves the DoT effect on the field, so if any enemy pets swap in, they will take the damage. (The primary one takes damage too, if it stays on the field.) None of the backline pets take damage, but I can see how people would think this is an AoE damage move. Good eye, though!

What Mathew said. It's a dot on the battlefield instead of the enemy so it persists through swaps/deaths.

I would assume this works just like the Scortched Earth weather affect but not quite as powerful.

Thanks for the help with this - I guess I was used to seeing some sort of text about persisting through swaps, which isn't there.

Oh well - now I know :-)
