Battlestone Drop Rates

It's been three days since I got a battlestone from one of my bags. Before then I was getting roughly three per day. Anyone else having the same luck?

Guess I'll chalk the three per day up to good luck and the lack of stones up to normal drop rates. Thanks for the clarification and good luck getting some more!

wondered the same, at first i got lots of stones and haven't seen any in few days even tho doing the same amount (if not more) tamers now and wild battles... seems that they drop less but getting tons of magic pet biscuits and didn't really get any of those earlier from satchels Oo

I want to say I get stones every day or every other day.

I haven't (yet) gone three days in a row without getting a stone, thankfully.

No problems from stones from bags, or stones from world pet battles, even after this latest hotfix, but the air spirit hates me. I have gotten 3 earth, 2 fire and 2 water, but no air yet, =(

Make genocide on pets and do tamer dailis every day... i usually get 1-2 per day RNG sucks...

But... im buying BOP stones from others who dont care and rather have 1k gold than an upgrade

I got five stones yesterday from tamer bags! :O

Two undead (used one on my Husband's Ghostly Skull for him since I'd finished upgrading all my undeads on the first stone), an aquatic, and two flying.

I have had a bit of a pattern of getting some stones every other day from tamer bags, but rng is weird like that.

Is the stone droppings more frequent on higher level pets than lower level? Just wondering because I got a Flawless stone from a Pandaria mob and a Beast one from a Pandaria pet mob as well. I did get another Beast stone but I cant' remember what Mob I got it from.

Yes -- higher level opponents give a better chance of stones (regardless of your pets' level(s)).

I've gotten quite lucky on stones, but only recently. Been pet battling since day 1 of the patch, and from then to now, I've only received about 3 stones, and all 3 were critter. Used them to upgrade my various crickets, and now they're hotfixed. Ticket inc

However, in the last 3 days, I've received 4 magic stones, one undead stone, one humanoid and one beast. All these from trainers daily's, not seen one from actual pet battles

I usually get 1 stone (on average) per day, from the sack of pet supplies reward, after battling all the trainers that offer it.
(usually the highlight of the night) Lots of travel time, though! (thank goodness for scrolls of recall)
But all this time, I've only ever gotten one stone from a wild pet. Just the one...

I've got 2 stones total since 5.1 dropped. I don't do every daily every day but I do at least a handful. Some days I get to almost all of them.

I found one beast stone in bag from dailies. I usually got like 1 a day (average) and I've been exterminating the critters in the Valley of Four Winds. Not a single stone.

I noticed a sharp decrease in the drop rates this last week or so. Still get one-two stones every other day. Gone maybe two-three days in a row getting nothing. I do all pandaria+kalimdor+eastern kingdoms+outland+northrend+uldum, which I think totals to 16 bags per day, minus 4 from elementals which I believe cannot contain battle stones. Some people report 20% drop rate from bags but I don't know if that's accurate at all. Overall, I'd say RNG is random.

I went a solid week without a single battlestone from any of my bags (though I did get the darkmoon eye). And then a couple days ago I got five or six different battlestones. Nothing again yesterday (though I'm holding off for a hotfix possibly today). All this tells me is it's very random.

To be honest, I went from getting a stone every other day since 5.1, to getting 2 stones a day since the last minor patch, just with trainer bags. I just save them up to pop them all in one go, I get less emo that way.

From wild pets though, never a single one and I've levelled 3ish pets to 25 in chain-killing stuff Deepholm.

I do all Pandaren tamers + spirit and usually get 1 per day. Some days I get 0, one day I got 3 but roughly one per day average I think.

Only ever gotten 1 from fighting wild pets and that's levelling 5 pets from 22-25 in Valley of the Four Winds fighting mostly level 25 pets. So the droprate from fighting seems very low.

I do all the tamers as well, usually get atleast one a day, sometimes its every other day though. these were (for the ones I can remember):

2 Dragonkin
2 Undead
1 Beast
1 Critter
1 Elemental
1 Mechanical
2 Humanoid

I have gotten three stones from wild pet battles: a magic from the arcane eyes, humanoid from a kun lai runt, and a beast from something in silithus (don't remember what it was ) I try to use them on non-wild pets but sometimes i really want a pet for battles and don't want to farm a rare, like the Fluxfire Feline and Nexus Whelpling
