35% catch rate, means you need exactly 3 thrown to catch.... EVERY SINGLE TIME.

I do not think it is base 35% capture rate, the only 35% they quote is the pet needs to be under 35% life

Attempt to catch a pet below 35% health. Capture chance is increased by 30% each time you fail.

Not one hour ago it took me 4 goes to capture my (rare)Duskytooth Snooter. Makes me think the base capture rate is under 10% and maybe as low as 0%, I can not remember capturing one on the first go and most have been 3, with just that one at 4.

Just checked, and official catch chance of PT is 30% not 35%, and then it increase by 30% per failed attempt.

But it doesn't change the fact that I, without exception, always need three attempts to catch anything.
