any pets going away in 5.4?

I don't think so, but Gaz'rooki will become a pet that drops (not sure where) instead of being purchased.

Elysoun is correct. All pets will remain intact come patch 5.4.

As for [pet]Gahz'rooki[/pet], Crithto mentioned that the baby hydra will drop from "Ko'kron and related mobs in Northern Barrens".

Still can´t help but to think that living fluid ( the LFR primoridius drop) is about as close to going away as any pet... and definitely will be gone in the next expansion.

Think he just means that the amount of people that will be running tot lfr will be limited, therefore making it more rare. Might be an idea to invest in tot pets for the future, this is pure speculation tho, as they might up the drop chance either now or come 6.0

Although I'm of the opinion that when they release the next expac, they'll put the LFR only pets onto the normal loot tables myself, this is just a guess though since it's a situation we've never had before.

Yeah, I think they will do something with it also. I was tempted to buy a couple at 5k and hold them for a few months and see what happens.. but I think they will err on the side of making it easy to get.

Or they'll put it as a generic drop from LFG/LFR bags like other pets.

Considering its impossible to get lvl 85 lfr gear from dragon soul now, you are out of luck if wanting any of those colored items.
