Just caught an interesting pet tidbit on the EU forums:
Appearently [ability]High Fiber[/ability] can remove the debuff from the [pet]Dark Phoenix Hatchling[/pet]s [ability]Dark Rebirth[/ability] and keeping it from killing itself after the ressurection.
Anyone heard of this? Dark Phoenix trick

Also read that post. Interesting use to say the least. But since Dark Phoenix only has 257 speed I would at least have real trouble timing Rebirth to make any use of it. But if you are good with that then it could be a very annoying pet to kill.

could this duo potentially boost any pet through any PVE pet battle fight?

Interesting but I'm not sure how useful it is ultimately as you'd still take 2 rounds of damage from rebirth (40% of your life) as you'd take a tick the round you come back and then the next round when you hard swap to Pierre. Then you remove it the next round before it can tick again.
Yeah you've got a pet that isn't going to die but it's taken 40% of it's health in dmg + what ever the opponent did + 2 rounds of dmg to Pierre as he hard swaps in and casts High Fiber and that is all assuming you can time rebirth right so it actually goes off. You might be able to use this in a PVE trainer battle but I can't see it working in PvP.

In theory, it sounds great...but I doubt it'd be very effective in practice. I would just be content with the rez going off and being able to last 2 or 3 extra turns, heh.
