Hey gang,
Can someone tell me just how good the Ruby Droplet is in battle? All I ever see is "I got mine today" type posts. Is he worth getting? Does he battle well? Is he useful in things like C.T. or Pandaria dailies? Those are the bulk of my pet battles and I'm wondering if he makes a difference there. I occasionally PvP battle, but not very often.
Thanks!
Ruby Droplet

Re: Ruby Droplet
I have him but I never use him in any of thpse scenerios. He's really only good in a pvp situation on a healing team.
Re: Ruby Droplet
Hm, never tested him, but I don't see him as overly useful in pve for any of the trainers to be honest... Maybe in PvP, but an elemental with undead moves would possibly be a good counter for an Anubisath Idol with the mechanical attack (not many use it though, since it has 50 percent hit chance). To be honest, I don't see it that useful in pvp...

He is used in a lot of stall/heal teams. His bubble is great in those.

Re: Ruby Droplet
Yea, that was my thought, to stick him in with my Ancient and either the Sunflower or Crawdad. I know, the Ancient/Sunflower/Crawdad team is stupid. But I'll take wins from forfeits, they are still wins!

Re: Ruby Droplet
I couldn't fight with such a team, I'd much rather take a quick loss and try again, than spend 10 minutes healing my pets, hoping the other will forfit XD. I'm even annoyed when fighting with my aoe/switch team, since it takes long. My three-darkness-nocturnal team is my favorite, since it either wins fast or loses fast, saving me time for more attempts.
Re: Ruby Droplet
I find it a very useful pet on even non-healing teams.
A fun team I made up of mr bigglesworth, kin-lei runt, and ruby droplet actually does pretty well for me.
Usually I have the first two take out at least two pets of an opponent and usually weaken the third.
The droplet comes in and finishes the job the shield is and heal it has is very useful for that.
I also like that it's heal damages the opponent too and it puts a damage plus dot damage with other move.
This team wins pretty decently for me and a nice change up when bored of other teams.
