Eleanor - The Super Goat Strategy !

Post by Elfuego » November 28th, 2014, 2:59 pm

One of the classic strategy's works great in her, the Spider Burn!

Eleanor Video Guide : [url]http://youtu.be/0aij7LB7fLo[/url]
Eleanor Strategy Guide: [url]http://www.wowpetbattle.com/eleanor.html[/url]

Your Team - [pet]Swamp Croaker[/pet] B/B [pet]Stitched Pup[/pet] H/P [pet]Crystal Spider[/pet] B/B or any spider that has webbing and swarm.

Start with the Swamp Croaker's Bubble, She will charge her ability. Next is Swarm of flies. The bubble will negate the charged attack. Swap to Stitched pup.

Start with pups [ability]Flurry[/ability], its really just to get some damage rolling. [ability]Plagued Blood[/ability] will allow the spider to gain a little health thru its round, from there just[ability] Flurry[/ability] spam until he goes down, when his ability is activated, then pop [ability]Howl[/ability], when he drops, swap to the Spider.

Start with [ability]Brittle Webbing[/ability], then its [ability]Spiderling Swarm[/ability]. This should take her pretty low. Ride the spider out and pick up the Swamp Croaker Again.

You should have 1 bubble debuff still and bubble free to use again. I used [ability]Tongue lash[/ability], then popped bubble after she blew the last debuff. Then just danced around her till she was dead.

You can also use a fox and pop [ability]Dazzling Dance[/ability], instead of the Stitched pup, he just garentee's the Howl before the spiders setup.

Hope it helps guys, see you all at the garrison!

I want to say I hate that goat.

The key for me was using a magic pet that had critter abilities.

[pet]Spectral Porcupette[/pet] because of the magic family ability the porcupette cannot one shot by the goat. Powerball does critter damage but my goal with this pet is to put two of the goats abilities on cooldown.

Next I use the [pet]Stitched Pup[/pet] for damage with howl + flurry. I will also heal after the first or second attack because I want to use put the goats abilities on cooldown with the pup. On his undead turn if timed right I can use howl again to set up for the last pet.

For the last pet I use [pet]Core Hound Pup[/pet] and scratch.

I have not had time to do a lot of testing with this set up yet.

310 speed Darkmoon Rabbit is great, but not everyone has that.
Are there any other Hares with 310+ speed?

Wild Magic + Stampede is a great combination. I was able to duo it with Darkmoon rabbit and Fetish Shaman.

Chipmunks with Crouch + Stampede do well. I got 3 Stampede waves with Crouch up.

I used Crawling Claw, move number 1, then Curse of doom, switched to my Puffer Fish for Whirlpool, Arctic Fox for Howl, followed by Dazzling Dance and then finish him off. Nice and easy. :D

Chi-chi (1,2,2), Zandalari Footslasher (2,x,2), Zandalari Toenibbler (2,x,2), in that order.

(Note: My zandalari are both S/S, and faster than Eleanor; this probably won't if your zandalari raptors are below speed 310. Anklerender or Kneebiter could be substituted for the Footslasher, but you definitely want the toenibbler, and you want it in slot 3.)

Open with Chi-Chi.

Round 1) Wild Magic
Round 2) Feign Death, automatically swaps in the Footslasher
Round 3) Exposed Wounds
Round 4) Hunting Party.
Note: Your Footslasher may die after the first or the second round of the Hunting Party, doesn't really matter which way.
When your Kneeslasher dies, Bring in the Toenibbler
Round 5/6 Onward) Spam Flank until Eleanor dies. Your Toenibbler will probably die while Eleanor is alive for her last round or two thanks to her undead ability, but chi-chi has enough health to survive until Eleanor falls over.

This worked very reliably for me, but is sharply dependent on having fast raptors.

My wife used Chi-Chi plus Blighted Squirrel; Crouch + Stampede + Undead type worked wonders as well. 4 waves of stampede.

A lot of the hares/rabbits have 325 if they're S/S. I used a Grassland Cottontail s/s, a Alpine Hare s/s, and a Mountain Cottontail S/S.

Two rabbits will generally kill it. Just attack with flurry or scratch because his first move will always be the charging one and an S/S is faster than the goat. Next move use dodge then stamped. The dodge will still be in place when the goat tries to turn you over to the darkside -- er, I mean undead. All you really have to remember is that the goat uses his spells on CD. Your dodge will come off CD on the same round that the goat tries to turn you again.

This is another quick fight to get 500 draenor pet battle wins. It's naturally faster for kills than power leveling against birds, but then again it feels slower and more boring because maybe it's a bit too fast? Don't know, or maybe it's the fact that I don't need to simultaneously browse pets to add to the leveling list before my current ones ding, or the fact that it's not as automated (multi-turn abilites ftw) so I can't alt+tab as efficiently... :) Don't even have to move to reach the NPC to heal your pets.

Anyways. I used [url=http://www.wowhead.com/npc=79751#comments:id=2052907]this strategy[/url] I found on wowhead.

Lesser Voidcaller (Curse of Doom)
Mr. Bigglesworth (Ice Tomb)
Chrominius (Howl & Surge of Power)

1. Lesser Voidcaller > Curse of Doom
2. Mr. Bigglesworth > Ice Tomb
3. Chrominius > Howl
4. Chrominius > Surge of Power

R2-R3: Stampede
R4: Black Claw
R5: Flank
R6: just survive

I found that could use the timeless strategy of any pet really, i chose a magic damage debuff pet this time followed by a swap to Water spirit. Geyser, whirlpool swap to chrominius, howl, surge. Beats most legendary pets so far.

Used Red Cricket, Panda Water spirit and Chromy

Used Cocoon strike, hit until dead, then do the howl bomb combo. If done right he will be charging his attack on the howl turn.

The Howl Bomb has been around as long as my Spider Burn and its a great tactic! I'm glad you appreciate the work I put in, its a labor of love and I enjoy it so! I'm looking forward to the future of pet battling, its becoming a solid part of wow with Draenor, and we've all been here from the ground level! Been putting together a complete An Awfully Big Adventure video guide, complete soon! I can't wait to see all the other strategies people come up with. Have you done it yet?

ooooooooooookay boys, better, shorter and simpler strat for the goat:

Darkmoon Zeppelin + Alpine Foxling Kit(At best one with low speed) + Hopling

Open with the Zep-> Decoy -> Switch to Fox, Buff with speed-> Howl -> Flurry (to death, gg fox) -> Hopling -> Backflip-> Tongue lash it to victory.
