Elfuego's Tirs and Fiero Scrappin Daily Strategy

Post by Elfuego » November 29th, 2014, 11:27 am

Hey Guys, Up next is Tirs and Fiero. Being elemental, they're weak against Magic. This was a great opportunity to showcase a unique pet, the [pet]Twilight Fiendling[/pet]. In this Strategy I used x3 P/P versions. They made short work of this crew. If you have [pet]Syd the Squid[/pet] he was amazing as well, built especialy for this fight, but not many players have him, so I decided on the Twilight Fiendlings. [pet]Legs[/pet] is also a decent choice here. But the Winning combo is Syd the Squid and twilight Fiendling for sure!

Start with [ability]Adrenal Gland[/ability]. From here I put rake up to reduce the chance of Tirs landing his next few hits. Then just spam [ability]Creeping Ooze[/ability]. It was really just that with a rinse and repeat cycle.

The second team is [pet]Twilight Fiendling[/pet] and [pet]Spirit Crab[/pet]. The crab's [ability]Amplify Magic[/ability] makes [ability]Surge[/ability] hit for about 650!

Nice tips! Is there a way for me to subscribe to your other ones as they come out?

Also, I was able to beat them using my Pandaren Water Spirit (dive made it so I didn't get killed right away), my Alpine Foxling (for the Howl ability), and I finished them off with my Arcane Eye.

Looking forward to the other dailies, and hoping it will be awhile before I see that mean undead goat again.

Jesjbrown, when I release a video usualy Youtube and google + and facebook all alert thier respective posts and tell people a new one is out. You can sub here [url]http://www.wowpetbattle.com/warlords.html[/url] and clicking the Youtube icon in the upper banner. Thank you so much for your support!

Just out of curiosity, why did you decide the [pet]Arcane Eye[/pet]? Other then it being Magic?

Subscribed and liked!

I wish I had a better reason for using the Arcane Eye, but it was just the magic thing. Before WoD I was leveling pets for the Celestial Tournament, but I've basically abandoned everything but Draenor right now. I only have 17 max pets, so my teams aren't ideal, but they get the job done. Once I finish the storyline content, I'll go back to leveling (and maybe even attempt the Tournament!)

Thanks so much for this tip! I was trying to spam with 3 water skimmers & 3 frogs and getting nowhere! Never would have thought to use a magic pet against an ele.

[url=http://www.wowhead.com/item=116064]Syd the Squid[/url] (1,1,1) owns this fight!
Had [url=http://www.wowhead.com/item=69648]Legs[/url] (2,2,1) and [url=http://www.wowhead.com/npc=62914]Twilight Fiendling[/url] (2,1,2) backing up but did not need them.

Strategy: [url=http://www.wowhead.com/npc=85678]Tirs[/url] casts [ability]Acid Rain[/ability]. You open with [ability]Whirlpool[/ability], follow with [ability]Bubble [/ability]and use [ability]Water Jet[/ability] 2 or 3 times until TIRS is very low on health, re-apply [ability]Whirlpool [/ability]before you finish him off with a [ability]Water Jet[/ability].

[url=http://www.wowhead.com/npc=85677]Fiero[/url] comes in. Spam [ability]Water Jet[/ability] till he's dead.

note: If [pet]Syd the Squid[/pet] dies, [pet]Legs[/pet] will easily finish off [url=http://www.wowhead.com/npc=85677]Fiero[/url] with a [ability]Whirlpool[/ability] and [ability]Surge of Power[/ability] combo.

For those who don't have a rare Twilight Fiendling yet and are having trouble farming one up, the Viscidus Globule is a weaker replacement that can be bought, but comes with 2 DoT's that are strong vs elemental.

I didn't test this for soildarity, but ran it quite a few times, so you may have to play with it to get it to work for you:

R1: Creeping Ooze
R2: Acid Touch

After this, you can do Creeping Ooze spam until the first enemy dies (if you get snazzy, you can use a weakness on the turn before he casts the 2nd acid rain against your team to reduce damage to your carry pet, but that requires some close attention to his turn order). You normally have enough health to survive the second enemy's first attack, so you can get off an Acid Touch followed by a Creeping Ooze. When your globule finally dies, you select your carry pet and then swap to the spirit crab. Amplify magic will boost any remaining DoT damage as well as your surge spam to victory.

Again, I haven't spent the time to really verify the solidarity of this one (toddler is being extra mischievous today), but something to at least try. I ran it successfully about a dozen times, but I didn't go through and math this one out yet.

Great tips, thank you! I used Pandaren Water Spirit (whirlpool, dive, water jet, whirlpool, water jet for Firs, water jet on Fiero) then Arctic Fox Kit (howl, bite). Didn't even need the third pet I had on backup.

Viscidus Globule, snarly, and muckbreath are a decent group,
had 1 fail out of 12 fights,

I used [pet]Pandaren Water Spirit[/pet] and [pet]Spirebound Crab[/pet]. I had [pet]Magical Crawdad[/pet] as a backup just in case since his hp is tanky. Turned out, I didn't need him.

Sent [pet]Pandaren Water Spirit[/pet] out first
[ability]Whirlpool[/ability]
[ability]Dive[/ability]
[ability]Water Jet[/ability]
[ability]Whirlpool[/ability] when off cooldown.

[pet]Pandaren Water Spirit[/pet] dies

Sent out [pet]Spirebound Crab[/pet]
[ability]Surge[/ability]
Put up [ability]Whirlpool[/ability] once the other goes off
[ability]Surge[/ability] til Fiero is dead.

Hi,

Please be careful with these directions. They are incorrect and no longer viable in some cases. The PWS information is workable, but generally incorrect as PWS has one bomb now, not two.

(corrected what I meant to say that was not interpreted correctly. sorry!)

First of all, the post is a year and a half old. Let's assume people know how to look at timestamps. Secondly, the PWS information is actually still 100% correct as he is not using the full bomb, but div and whirlpool, which is still perfectly viable.
