Greetings, fellow pet enthusiasts!

Yesterday I've beaten the four Pandaren Elemental Trainers, so I guess the next step is the tournament, but I only have 10 lvl 25 pets yet, so I though I'll just ask what other 5 I should level in preparation for the tournament and why.
I have on level 25:
-Unborn Val'kyr
-Lil' Ragnaros
-Chrominius
-Menagerie Custodian
-Onyxian Whelpling
-Mini Diablo
-Clockwork Gnome
-Fluxfire Feline
-Crow
-Alpine Foxling

I hardly still use Mini Diablo, which was in my original 3 pet team, but he's a bit low on life. I'm a bit worried about the difficulty of the tournament and like to be prepared in one way or another.

I am not one of the great pet battlers. I used http://www.wowhead.com/guide=1827/how-to-easily-beat-the-celestial-tournament to beat the Celestial tournament. It has guides for every fight & lists of substitutes so you can see if anything you have will work instead of the pet they used. I still lose once in a while to bad luck but this helped me a lot.

15 level 25 pets is the minimum to queue for the Celestial Tournament. Unless you have very specific pets and a way to aoe heal ones you've used previously, I think you're going to need more than 15 pets to complete the tournament.

Some things I would suggest you level:

Pandaren Water Spirit - For Chi-chi
Lil bling - For Xu-fu
A flyer with a double damage move (flock or swarm typically ) that is faster than Zao even if it's under half health
Tranquil Mechanical Yeti - For Zao
P/S or S/S Bonkers or Clock Em for Yu'la.

Then focus on w/e you need to beat the three undercard trainers for that week.

Seconded that you'll need more than 15 pets and seconded that the Padaren Water Spirit is vital to team up with Chrominius. Also get a Crawdad or a Magic Lamp for Wish.

If you don't have a Chrominious then any beast with howl will do. A jungle Grub also comes in handy as does the Clockwork Gnome.
