Does anyone else use this and is it totally screwed up for you now, too?

I haven't used it in over half a year now (Been using Rematch), but I have seen quite a few complaints about teams still disappearing. Is that what is happening to you?

Was just logging on to post the same thing! Yeah, goddamn it. Wiped all loadouts. You can "select" a team, but game returns you the "battle slots empty" error (or w/e). Can't find a reload or rebuild function.

in more recent versions, there is an option to rebuild the teams. check the curse website for the change log and see if your version has that.

You can also try and see if Rematch can build the teams using the import button, but you would still have to manually add them back to PetBattleTeams (but at least you could see what they were in Rematch to do so). Doesn't always work, but sometimes does. EDIT: There are two import buttons. The one I am talking about is in the Rematch options menu (only shows up if PetBattleTeams is also installed and running)

My rebuild button does NOT work is the prob. All blank.

Rematch is a Pet Battle Teams addon with a lot more features (auto team loading, levelling queue, search by ability/stats/etc.). It's a different interface than PBT, but I like it a lot better. The search feature is reason enough to have it even if you still use PBT for the teams. The other nice thing is the author of Rematch is still actively working on it. The PBT author hasn't done much since Nov 2013 unless he just came back or something.

It can also read the PBT file and try and make the teams. Not guaranteed though. If the file truly is hosed, then it will be really difficult to rebuild (have to by hand reading the file). Instead of the rebuild option, if you have PBT installed, go into the options menu of Rematch and look for an import button for PBT. It'll try to build them if it can.

The problem is older versions of PBT didn't save the teams correctly. They used the wrong ID for the pets (one that blizzard periodically changes). Newer versions of PBT and Rematch use a different ID to store the pets on the teams.

It doesn't highlight the search in those, but if you want to find all the pets that have blood in the water and a power stat over 300, you can do:

Blood in the Water power>300


It's pretty powerful.

I d/l it yesterday and tried it out, the look is very nice. Haven't dug much into what all it can do yet but I like the look alone and you can do everything from it, including queue for PVP.

The WCP thread isn't an official thread of the authors and the author doesn't check that thread religiously, but they have been pretty good about addressing stuff there in addition to the official sites at curse and wowinterface.
