Where are ya'll hunkering down to do your 500 battles? I've got just under a hundred but I've been focused on getting to 100 first (when I figured you needed to be 100 to get the pet shack) and then I realized that the GR don't grow on trees so I was hunting down rares to kill. Now I've got my ubber level 3 town and I finished the pre-pet shack quest like 5 minutes before the servers went down for maintenance.

I'm thinking of going to Gorgrond with my Chrom, a carry pet, and mech dragon since there's so many flying pets in that area. I can widdle them down with Chrom's AOE and do a quick switch out with the carry and switch either back in. I'm curious if anyone else has a place they prefer.

The first one starts with MoP but moves into WoD discussion. Those are just what I found on the first page. I didn't check the second page, but I think think there are more threads there on the topic as well if I remember right. From my own experience Frostfire Ridge has large dense populations.

You can easily get 500 battles in your garrison alone, you can repeat the battle in your daily garrison even after completing it once for the daily, it counts towards the encounter, Ill link the video when I can. For sure it works!

Also the two power leveling areas I have found are : 1. The mountain around Gargra, I set interact with target to F1 and just spam it until it finds a proper battle zone. After 2 pet battling Gargra herself. They spawn all around, the ones near the black rocks you get onto the rocks themselves to fight. I use a [pet]Jade Crane Chick[/pet] and a [pet]Kun-lai Runt[/pet]. They destroy these teams in the area and are strong against the critters there!

2. Talidor, in South Auchindown, near the Flight master Beldos is th enext area, in a circle from the west to the south of his position, and you can Power level on Taralune.

it works and i will add , if you choose the daily to do that you can probably lvl some lowbies along the way....
just one things tho.... i notice some battle give around 300XP to lowbies and some give the same amount as the tammers.

This is what I have been doing as well. Leveling an alliance alt, the zone is almost entirely empty with tons of pets everywhere. I am level 94 with 250/500 done.

The ones without "tamers" don't have the tamer bonus and dish out EXP the same as wild pet battles. Remember number of opponents affect the amount of EXP gained.

The ones with tamers give a tamer bonus (Squirt for example), but at least on beta it was around the same level as CT tamers, which isn't as high as the WoD or MoP tamers.

Personally, I'm just holding myself to doing 50 every day (well, *ahem* 25 at this point... my undergeared ele sham has to do those confounded Apexis dailies). I want to open it up quickly, but at the same time I don't want to burn myself out on battling before I even get there.

I tweeted about it when it was the Beakinator, who was so fast I got it all done and have had my level 3 Menagerie open for 2 days now!

The Beakinator won't be up for awhile though, again. But the rotation is the same (at least it was in beta).

I got the achievement the 23rd, by farming moonshell crabs on a shore in SMV.

I'm also doing moonshell crabs in SMV, mostly to level my alt and to level all the new WoD pets I have, but partly because I'm on a PVP server and I get killed while doing pet battles in any other zone in Draenor.

That's all good info. Thanks guys! <3 I think I'm going to work on getting my 500 today. The garrison pet daily for level 2 is absurdly easy with those three birds. My Nexus Whelp can pretty much solo them all with arcane storm and mana surge. Sometimes I might be called upon to cast a third attack to finish off the last one. I think I'll survive that. Somehow...

It's ridiculous but who am I to look a gift horse in the mouth?
