WOW. Fantastic news, though I feel bad for all of those who have already ground out the 500. I'm over halfway there now, so I'll grind this out quickly!

Very glad for this. I was somewhere around 330-ish and the prospect of doing another 200 was pretty soul-crushing. I ended up more or less giving up and just elected to wait for an easy daily pet to grind so I am incredibly pleased I won't need to bother even doing that.

No big deal, gotta get 2,000 for the monument anyway.

And I just completed the achievement yesterday. But this is a rare case where I don't actually really mind. The first <100 battles I captured pets I didn't yet have and the rest were spent leveling pets, so I got a lot of pets to lvl 25 while doing the achievement. It was a good reason to grind 500 was probably a bit too much for just getting your pet menagerie upgraded to lvl 3. I think 150 is good because it's closer towards "capture all draenor pets, possibly hunting for a good breed / rare one, and then battle a bit extra" than "you did all that, now go do 400 more battles". 150 is still a lot for people who don't do pet battles that much. They should nerf Draenic Seed Collector as well, though. It's ridiculous compared to the mine.

Yay. I love pet battles as much as anyone, but even I'm struggling to get to 500. Looking forward to getting new pets!

Well so much for spending my time grinding this instead of gearing up. Looks like I guessed wrong on this one haha.

You kids these days have it too easy. Back when beta first came out the number was *1000*. I spent 3.5 days doing nothing but pet battles to get my level 3 plan.

Anyway, glad to hear its down to 150 since I only have about 220 so far on live

Mine still shows "Win 500 pet battles in Draenor" on the achievement. I'm specifically 45/500 on mine.

When you get the achievement it says 500/500 (at least for me) even if you don't have 500, so I am guessing that is just a thing they will fix later.

I'd love to be able to even long so I could be pissed from INSIDE the game.

What a waste of time. Though I did give *vehement* feedback during beta that 1000 was horrible. I figured 500 was fine but no, people had to freak out even harder.

They should have listened to us in beta and saved all the tears.

Amazing amazing amazing, now nerf the monument to 1k please?:) the other 4(maybe not crafting) is so much easier

... I wish I would have read this BEFORE I sat and did about 30 battles earlier. I was actually at around 450/500 yesterday. I had my achievement tracked, and I just thought maybe it got knocked off my interface. Oh well... I still have a whole bunch to level anyway, now I get my shiny new menagerie!

Very strange..

I played last night (at the time you posted this) and with 267/500, the blueprint was still unavailable..

I know the achevement can't trigger until ATLEAST a server restart (maintainance today), maybe even a patch, but the blueprint should be accessible anyway..
Will check tonight again, after maintainance..

Got up to 170 or so doing Birds of a Feather daily group. Was a great way to get lv 25 pets. Upgrading to lv 3 now!

I have to ask why people are struggling. In Frostfire Ridge there are spots with 15-20 beasts, critters and flyers up any any one time... One of them is where you train your Icehoof and is right next to a flight point.

Mech, Magic, Beast team will essentially end the fight in 7-8 rounds.

I did my 500 battles in very little time, well on my way to 2000 now.

Thanks for telling us, had no idea, now building my lv 3 on 2 toons, I grinded up 300 already, at least I saved myself another 200
