Is this the future of pet battling?

I don't think the Erris/Kura battles are intended to be difficult. They will appear in your garrison even if you haven't unlocked the Menagerie yet, so even beginners can try out a battle or two with them.

I'd like to think that more challenging/"end game" Pet Battle content will come as the expansion comes to a close, similar to how the Celestial Tournament was released towards the end of MoP, but we'll see.

Molten Corgi did the same with the three rats. They're only lvl 23.

Yeah I've been using this to slowly level my RWL3 pets. It's no more difficult than a random wild battle, but the payoff is great, plus free leveling stones.

And I don't consider this the "future" of pet battling. I think of it as an extra this patch (since we got RWL3 at the same time) to give us something different to do, that is still doable by most casual collectors.

not to forget she is a reliable source of pocket lint for all the lint collectors

Makes me wonder if Doob has a lint collection now. I know he has a dead mole collection. :p
