I'm trying to figure out what pets I still need to get for dailes and pvp. If you have a different 5 for dailes and pvp please let me know.

Ah, I see you wanted top 5 for pve, and then top 5 for pvp. Well then!

PVE: Anubisath Idol, Menagerie Custodian, Onyxian Whelpling, Sprite Darter Hatchling, Sentinel's Companion.
PVP: Yu'la, Iron Starlette, Kun-Lai Runt, Teroclaw Hatchling, Hyjal Wisp.

Everyone else's answer for the PVP side MUST include Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling given I see one in nearly every PVP fight these days...

PVE: emerald proto-drake, chrominius, MPD, unborn valk, DM zeppelin
PVP: MPD, unborn valk, fragment of desire, fiendish imp, son of sethe

My top 5 that I find using all the time for PVE

Rapana Whelk
Nexus Whelpling
Emerald Proto-Drake
Luya Moth
Tranquil Mechanical Yeti

I also pick these 5 because they are pretty easy to obtain

Pve : Anubisath/ PWSpirit/ MpD/ DMZepp/ Chrominius

PvP : Fragment of anger/ Stonegrinder / Jademist dancer(s/s)/ Alpine foxling (p/b) / Emperor Crab (p/p)

For leveling~ toons and pets:
Cornish rex-for halfhill.
Gilnean raven -vale of E.blossoms.
Murkalot/BfBombling/Imperial Eagle chick ~ Frostfire ridge

PvE pets I use most commonly -

(P/P) Emerald Proto-Whelp
(H/H) Anubisath Idol
(H/H) or (B/B) Unborn Val'kyr
(S/S) Bronze Whelpling
(S/S) Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling

PvP pets that I play with -

(S/S) Ore Eater
(H/P) Teroclaw Hatchling
(P/S) Son of Sethe
(S/S) Slithershock Elver
(S/S) Nightshade Sproutling

These are of course just a handful. There are tons and tons of fun pets i like to team up with each other. Good luck!

I personally don't have any sets yet that I like to use for pve or pvp. But I can give you a few that I would say are my mainstays. Ones I use while leveling my pets.

[pet]Kun-Lai Runt[/pet]
[pet]Gryphon Hatchling[/pet]
[pet]Wind Rider Cub[/pet]

I tend to use the last two to get them to 10. Then Grunty and Kun-Lai to get them to 25. I haven't had a reason to change my strat as of yet, so thats about all I can give you.

Honorable mentions: the 3x Fragments from Black Temple. These days, the 2 garrison dailies is the only trainers I bother doing. And the trio can kill all of the opposing teams, save Stitches Jr. because of Iron Thread. Frequently, Fragment of Anger have often been able to solo enemy garrison teams because they are so easy now after the nerf.
