Use that pet

There are lots of topics around here that use the easier to get pets for various trainers and dailies and that really helped me out a ton when I was building my collection and working on leveling everything up.. Now that I have nearly 700 unique pets I'd really love to see some teams utilizing some of my rarer pets. Those really expensive TCG ones or the nearly impossible to catch ones anything of that sort. What trainers have you been beating with these pets? What are some less common PvP set ups using some of these?

Most guides tend to avoid using TCG pets, because many people feel they are too expensive to obtain..

I understand that...as I said that was kind of the point of this post. Since most guides avoid those, to see what people are actually using them for...

I use Hatespark and an Azure Whelpling to knock down Taralune in 10 rounds (see http://www.warcraftpets.com/community/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=13853 ).
Not as expensive, but the XT pets (both TCG and Store) are really good versus Squirt (see http://www.warcraftpets.com/community/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=13464&p=111830&hilit=squirt#p110632 ) and the Feasel brothers.
I haven't tried out many others though. I can see the spectral kitties possibly having some good combos.

I am on the opposite side of the fence where I go after about any pet I can get my hands on. When it comes to pet battles I prefer to find the "fastest strats" possible with little to no chance of failure. If I don't have the pets for a strat that can save a round or 2 it is fine, but not listing a strat because it has a rarer pet isnt the answer. I wish more guides had multiple strats though.
