My level 23 pet got 2325 from the Kura battle today.
The same pet only got 40 xps from the Kromli & Gromli battle.

So it appears the bonus battle is back to awarding xps.

The bonus has been restored, but as I noted in my earlier post on this during the PTR, the multiplier was dropped from 7x to 5x as well.

What do you use for a generic carry team?

I have specific carry teams for Kura/Erris based off which fight it is for the day. I was unaware of a team that could carry regardless of which bonus daily it is. If one exists, I would be very grateful if someone could post it.

Well if you are going generic and don't care about speed, you can probably try something like a Teroclaw Hatchling/Mech Pand Dragonling. That gives you a decoy for carry pet swaps and two really solid pets in general.

With Rematch auto picking my teams, I haven't needed a generic team though, so that is just some off the wall thoughts.

So here's a question, then: which battles will be up for the 5 days of the first pet battle bonus event?

I'm not sure there is a set rotation. So far they have seemed to be pretty random with some happening multiple days in a row and other times swapping around. I don't know if there is any stable pattern to it.

Ah, I meant for the regular menagerie, not Erris. Looks like it will be Kromli and Gromli, the bugs, the birds, Eleanor, and Tirs and Fiero. So, two of the five days will be optimal for garrison grinding.

Edit: Never mind, I think I misread the OP as referring to Kromli and Gromli before patch or something.

menagerie XP is still horribly nerfed except for Squirt. It won't be worthwhile to do the menagerie battles to level during the event
