I do not see any triple bonus xp as advertised. My level ones go to 14 and 14s go to 20 just like as before.

I believe the Pet Battle Bonus Event already ended prior to the patch being released. Will have to wait until the next time it comes around.

So they put up a whole calendar like there was an event, yet it ended before the patch went live.

Typical blizz buffoonery.

They did in the PTR, so no reason for them not to on the live realms.

Just keep on mind that on the PTR, the bonus was +200, not the 300 you might expect.

So with just the safari hat, your normal bonus is 1.10x experience, but during the event that will go up to 3.10x experience instead of 4.10x (assuming it follows the values on the PTR).

The first time we will see the two coincide with each other will be Sunday, November 15th.

Not trying to nitpick here, but everything is working as intended

+200 means 300% in total, which is what the calendar event advertises with "triple the usual rate".

So excited to get to level my stragglers on bonus weekend! 4000 club here I come!

Sadly, the weekend quest (Defeat 5 Enemies with a level 25 Team in PVP) that rewards an Ultimate Training stone is ACCOUNT wide, not character. Lame.

with all buffs available (darkmoon, hat, 2 treats) i got a lvl 1 pet to lvl 19 in 1 trainer fight (13956 EXP)
the better thing is that I got a lvl 10 pet to lvl 23/24! in 1 trainer fight (18288 EXP)

Where do you pick up that quest for 5 pvp fights?

In front of the town hall in your lvl 3 garrison. The NPC is "Seer [something]," I believe.

Does the darkmoon carousel work the same as the darkmoon tophat for pet exp?

No, the top hat and carousel are two different buffs. Only the top had applies to pet XP.
