Hey Guys,

Ive noticed a few people place some ideas on how to level pets using squirt. Here is my 2 cents, hope it helps someone (video below).

Pet Combo
Pet 1: Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling
1: Breath
2. Thunderbolt
3. Explode

Pet 2: Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling
1: Breath
2. Thunderbolt
3. Decoy

Pet 3: Any Lvl 1-24 Pet.

Pet Battle

Deebs:
Use Mech Dragonlin
1. Thunderbolt
2. Breath till dead (should take around 4 Breath's)

Tyri
1. Thunderbolt
2. Explode
Bring in 2nd Mech Dragonling
3. Breath till dead (1 or 2)

Puzzle
1. Switch to leveling pet
2. Switch back to Dragonling
3. Breath until below or equal to 740 health
4. Thunderbolt

Note: If puzzle's health goes below 400, he will use a portal and become immune. Just place a decoy up (so he doesnt gain health from his trait) and thunderbolt when he is no longer immune.

Just tested the strategy, works just as promised most of the time. Issues I see are, the fine line on Puzzle's health is kinda hit and miss. The first three fights the was no good way to keep him from going under 400 unless I stalled for several rounds until he regened health. Secondly, letting Tyri use Call Darkness is an RNG nightmare each test round I had at least 1 or more breaths miss. The Round 5 fight below was a total failure because not only did MPD's Explode miss because of Darkness, but this drew the fight out and let my leveling pet, granted it was level 2, die to Tyri's AoE.

Don't get me wrong it's a workable strategy, and even with the misses you can still win fairly easily, but that draws the fight out longer and has a chance to take your carry pet out.

Fight Timers
Round 1: 1 min 32 sec
Round 2: 1 min 36 sec
Round 3: 1 min 28 sec
Round 4: 1 min 15 sec - 2 big crits here
Round 5: Failure because leveling pet died.

You might want to alter you title to 2 min per fight, not 2 min from 1-25 like it reads.

Re Puzzle, no need to stall, if he gets below 400 health all you do is place up a decoy and keep spamming Breath till dead.

The low level pet can probably absorb one or maybe two (depending on lvling pet) Omnislash (AOE) hits from Tyri, however in my experience it is on the lower % chance of that happening. However, the other short fights should hopefully make up for the time

I leveled the majority of my pets this way, it was a shame they didn't implement pet week earlier as it would have saved me a heap of time.

Found this on another post. This worked 100% of the time. Two minutes per battle. I used the two food buffs and the safari hat so it was better then 1-10.

I've been using the following strat which I adapted from one I found on the web, so I can't take credit for it.

Pets: Alpine Foxling S/S (Bite, Howl), Ghastly Kid (Diseased Bite, Ethereal, Ghostly Bite) and a Leveling Pet (which can be level 1).

1. Alpine Foxling - Howl on Deebs
2. Alpine Foxling - Bite until Deebs is dead (about 4 bites)
3. Alpine Foxling - Howl on Tyri - foxling dies here
4. Ghastly Kid - Ghostly Bite - Tyri dies
5. Swap in leveler as Puzzle always casts Evade first
6. Swap in Ghastly Kid
7. Ghastly Kid - Diseased Bite
8. Ghastly Kid - Ghostly Bite - Puzzle dies

You might occasionally have to do 2x Diseased Bites and sometimes the alpine foxling will get one last bite off, which means you can just finish Tyri with a Diseased Bite.

Superfast and 100% effective strat for Squirt:

Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling
Carry
Ghastly Kid

1. Thunderbolt
2. Breath until Diablo dies
3. When Tyrael comes out> Decoy
4. Thunderbolt
5. Breath until Tyrael dies.
6. When Puzzle comes out switch to carry b/c Puzzle always dodges
7. Switch to Ghastly Kid
8. Ghostly Bite kills Puzzle.

Boom. Super fast. The only thing that might happen whilst using the MPD is a miss while Darkness is up - but it never changes how the fight works out. Puzzle basically comes in with 1048-988 hps from the 2 Thunderbolts you used and so gets killed by 1 Ghostly Bite from the Ghastly Kid.

This is exactly the pet setup I use and have not lost at all. You can use a level 1 with no worries that it'll die. I've leveled over 200 pets just on Squirt. With both buffs + hat, I get 1-11. Takes about 5-6 battles to level a single pet to 25.

Just a friendly reminder, that super pet day is coming again! Pet XP bonus is supposed to begin on December 30, the next day Squirt is in our garrisons!

I'm ready for the 30th(US), I had vacation days left that I had to use before the end of the year so I'm taking the 28th-31st off which combined with getting Christmas, New Years, plus the weekends is 10 days off!

I don't know who initially I got this from, but the Batttle Pet Binds makes the squirt leveling (and all other pet battles really) so much more efficient.
Now to find an addon to skip the weebom animation.

I will be having my garrison open* pretty much all night (US night) as I level pets, if anyone wants to use a lower level character to get some XP.

*-also Alchemy/Enchant/Salvage/Fishing level 3 if y'all interested.

Works every time. Now levveled all my unique 720 pets to 25, more or less when Squirt is up.

I'm slightly bummed out. The ONLY day between now and January 2 that I work with another person is December 30, so I won't be able to spam it during work hours.

Now I know what to make the daytime hours of New Year's Eve pass that much faster, thanks a lot. And with the Pet Battle event live, it should almost feel like the good old days of pre-nerf Bird Trio powerlevelleing

Thanks for this! I had kind of run out of steam on any more mass pet leveling, but I leveled a bunch of pets last night while I watched a movie. Perfect!!

You can also use the Tinder pup if you don't have Enchanted broom. This does same thing with fight and is a 100% win rate as well. Instead of sweep, you replace it with Retrieve

There is often a squabble amongst pet battlers over Broom and Weebom vs the s/s bronze whelpling and widget

I like the s/s bronze whelp and widget team for the speed factor..it take 11 turns -usable for level 1 carries and the animations
that the whelp and widget do are quick

If rng hates you and crits knock off the flow, the battle can be salvaged in some cases- it is quite reliable though in my experience
(Leveled 1k pets to max X 3 over 3 different accounts)- and yes that was nutty of me to do

The repeatable battle in legion makes leveling quite a bit easier these days though so people rely on Squirt a bit less I think.

Love this one and the different ways to do this ... I have used the Worg Wolf Pup one for a long time and will try the others for fun.

SAD fact ... with 1100+ pets, and 3 Horde and 3 Alliance characters doing dailies (whenever I'm not lazy and they have Pet Charms!!!!!!!), I'm up to like 600+ Pet Charms ... so, sadly, I haven't done Squirt in at least 6 months ... easier to buy the stone and voila ... Level 25!

Now you know how things change when you are way up there! Someone wrote here on this board that you can't get up that high and everything level 25 on one toon alone. I'm not gonna be the brave one to try!
