I guess that says it all, did the battle and now the abandon is greyed out. Looks like all good things come to an end.

Yep, you cant drop any of them now. Once they are complete they are complete. Period. The days of leveling a pet in an hour are over. LAME.

You can still level "a" pet from 1 to 25 in an hour. You just can't level very many of them in the course of a day this way and you can't sit in one place doing it. Using only the pet supply dailies, you can generally get two pets from 1-25 in a day.

Flying around all the zones in every continent takes up a lot of time too even with 310% flying. Such a pain now.

My daily route is:

Shrine to SW
SW to Hyjal to Winterspring (Trainer)
Guild Cloak Teleport to SW
SW to Deadwind Pass (Trainer)
Necklace to Shadowmoon Valley (Trainer)
Argent Tournament Tabard to Icecrown (Trainer)
Tol Barad Tabard to Tol Barad to SW to Uldum (Trainer)
Hearth to Shrine
Shrine to Vale (Trainer x2)
Vale to Jade Forest (Trainer x2)
Jade Forest to Krasarang (Trainer)
If you have Shado-Pan Monastery teleport:
Kun-Lai Summit (Trainer)
Kun-Lai Summit to Townlong (Trainer x2)
Townlong to Dread Wastes (Trainer x2)
If you do not have the teleport:
Krasarang to Dread Wastes (Trainer x2)
Dread Wastes to Townlong (Trainer x2)
Townlong to Kun-Lai Summit (Trainer)
Done.

This route takes me a little under 1.5 hrs and nets me two level 1-25 pets or several ~22-25 pets. I don't even bother with wild battles outside of this unless I'm farming rares or if I'm bored.

It's not as fast as just using one trainer over and over again, but it's not terribly slow or uninteresting either.

I've taken the lazy way on all these non-Pandaria tramers and just parked an alt at each of the tamers. (My level 51 warrior in Deadwind Pass has to run away after each battle with the tamer but hasn't died to the skull mobs yet >_> )

Even better! Hadn't thought of that!

I will try a full run of tamers with my mage and see how long that takes. I have not really tried using anything below a lvl 25 with the MOP trainers except with Nishi.

I also have park alts at the trainers that are not bug saves a ton of time.

You all should check out the hotfix coming.
