Is it me, or did this pet get buffed somehow? He seems to hit much harder, and uses the Eye Beam much more frequently, giving the usual team a hard time of things!!!
Anyone else noticed similar?

Are you talking about [ability]Focused Beams[/ability] or [ability]Eyeblast[/ability]?
Eyeblast had its damage increased (but also a 4 round cooldown). I don't think there was a change to Focused Beams, but maybe the Eyeblast change was enough to make a noticeable difference in the overall fight?

I actually like that more, you want to keep your speed when you go with MPD or Clockwork Gnome. =)

Yeah.. I just came here fixing to ask about this.. My [pet]Blossoming Ancient[/pet] has gotten the beat down put on him several times now, using the same strategy as I had in the past.
And it is [ability]Focused Beams[/ability] that seems to have gotten some extra firepower to it..
Guess its back to the drawing board

OK.. So, after some miserable fails with the [pet]Blossoming Ancient[/pet] / [pet]Cogblade Raptor[/pet],
I switched to the following I found on
Wowhead and it worked with a carry pet in place of the Elekk:
Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling (1,2,2)
Darkmoon Tonk (1,1,2)
Elekk Plushie
Judgement:
Turn 1- Thunderbolt
Turn 2+ - Breath until Judgement dies
Honky-Tonk comes in:
Turn 1-Decoy
Turn 2- Thunderbolt
Turn 3+ - Breath and Thunderbolt when it is ready until your Dragonling dies
(If Honky-Tonk is still alive, use missle until he is done.)
Fezwick:
Turn 1- Shock and Awe
Turn 2- Ion Cannon

Phew, I'm glad it wasn't just me being noob. I welcome the change, now I see what's altered. I do try and keep up to date with patch notes etc, but this one I must have missed.
Can still do it using the Infinite Whelpling as a starter pet, and have to pray that Tonk uses the lock as his first move. Anything else will finish off the IW. Will try a new combo going forward...
