Hmm..I have to think more about it, but something the cover your Calf against MPD...Wicked Soul? or Fiendish Imp?
As a third member how about a flying pet...Mechanical Axebeak? (alpha strike, hawk eye, decoy)

Sleeping gas because it's strong against magic, unlike your other abilities.
I prefer running toxic smoke as well, in my own team: Blightbreath, Jademist Dancer, Emperor Crab.
Have fun with your new pet! Wish to have him, but hey I'm dutch and cheap.

While the logic behind running [ability]Sleeping Gas[/ability] for its bonus against Magic is sound, I'd say it's not so great due to its awful damage -that is further prevented from scaling up due to cooldown- and its unrealiable CC potential, that suffers greatly from [pet]Blightbreath[/pet]'s low speed.
Even against a Magic pet, [ability]Toxic Smoke[/ability] dishes out more damage, at least initially, and if you're going to run a Breath build you won't have too many opportunities to stack it into dealing meaningful damage.

Yeah, I agree. I can't see the celestial calf being any good in that team anyhow. But after celestial blessing you could do sleeping gas twice and setup acid rain, hope for stuns, don't us dreadful breath but swap to the jademist dancer for a surprise factor.

I'll probably experiment with the 2nd slot even though the Ghostpup is one of my all time favorites.
Can't go wrong with him.
Now the next question, what breed on the flier..
