So I was doing my weekly on my monk and notice when sitting on his Ban-Lu, Grandmaster's Companion
(monk class mount) he can't enter the pet battle pvp and instead gets kicked out of the queue!?

So I knew you can't enter the Pet Battle PVP (pbpvp) when sitting on/in a
Chauffeured Machano-Hog, Grand Expedition Yak or a Traveler's Tundra Mammoth.

But sitting on Ban-Lu, Grandmaster's Companion?

Not that it ever made sense to me in the first place but now I am totally awed.
Have you ever been sitting on another pet you couldnt enter the pbpvp?

Are you girls & guys never on a mount when you enter a pvp pet battle?

Almost never, though I have seen the "Cannot battle on a Transport" error message when trying to enter the queue from the back of a Mammoth.

I'm too stingy to have the Yak to test (bad value for money, folks! ) but I did try the Mechano-Hog, which does seem to be a "transport", in that it carries a passenger and shows the transport graphic when summoned.

You can enter the queue while on the scooter.

The yak is not bad value for money especially with the trans-mog guy nowadays (only the ugly spider is)

Yes its not realy making sense which mount works and which doesnt
(ie the sandstone drake which is clearly a transport works fine)
thats why I ask if anyone encountered it on any other mount than the ones
I listed so I can put them on to the demount list in my addon.
Cause I didnt expect at all this to happen on the monk class mount and I dont have the
Warrior Classmount....

Sanstone Drake can carry a passenger but it's not a "vehicle". It's true that it isn't a regular mount, either; and it's in fact closer to a shapeshift effect and it behaves like a Druid's Travel form at all effects.

On the other hand, passengers of either Sandstone Drake, Travel Form, or any mount with additional slots will get the "Cannot battle on a transport" error message. So it's mostly a matter of keeping an eye out for the "Leave Vehicle" red arrow button.

Additionally, some buffs that entail transformations, or special abilities, may also have issues. I know for a fact that Day of the Dead fighting costumes interfere with Dungeon Queues, so I wouldn't be surprised to see them causing issues with Pet Battles as well (even if they're not mounts)

Still no idea with Ban-Lu doesn't work properly. Probably some sort of hidden aura or some other fancy stuff.
