Elite boss buff should be replace with double HP

Explode and swarm behave too powerful face to elite boss buff(50% damage reduction),because explode can ignore 50% damage reduction ,swarm can increase triple damage.

Since more explode pets was born,we always beat a boss easily by using two explode pets,without consideration, PVE pet battle become bored.
For example, elemental family familiar in Argus used to be challenging. Now,we just need 1 sunflower and 2 corrupted blood.


Replace boss buff with double HP can weaken the powerful of explode and swarm.
(another buff ''pets cannot be dealt more than 35% of their maximum health in one attack'' can be preserved)

50% damage reduction is essential double hp. Your change wouldn’t actually have any impact on these mechanics.

Just FYI swarm is 100% damage increase. 50% reduction - 100% increase is 50% increase to damage.

Not quite, it's indeed a relative increase of 3x.

You're missing a 100% in the formula, which is, the base damage of the ability. So, for example:
- Standard Fight: 100% damage
:arrow: with Swarm: 100% + 100% = 200% (double the regular damage)
- Boss: 100% - 50% = 50% damage
:arrow: with Swarm: 100% - 50% + 100% = 150% (triple the regular damage, in relative terms!)

Similarly, flat damage modifiers like [ability]Black Claw[/ability] are twice as effective (in relative terms) because they are unaffected by the 50% damage reduction. This is what makes Ikky and Zandalari Raptors ridiculously strong against bosses, and this is very noticeable because the first "wave" does almost nothing, but the second one totally destroys the boss.

However, doubling the health wouldn't really solve much... in fact, I believe Elite pets initially had twice the health, which was cheesed extensively with abilities like [ability]Life Exchange[/ability]. Ultimately, the solution is making the 50% damage reduction separate from everything else (including the Crouch shenanigans) so that it applies the 50% damage reduction after all other damage calculations have been applied.

Sorry I assumed it would be understood that my percentages were against baseline damage and not need to add it.
