Account bound pet battles

As title, there were 5 daily battles that you could use to (slowly) level alts, these appear to no longer be active. I've scoured the patch notes, did I miss something or is this another under the radar "fun" fix >:(

Edit: never mind, as I typed this there was a blue post stating it's a bug
