So I've been farming for a variety of breeds of the various colors in Deepholm (mostly poor and common) and I just had an Elemental Stone drop. I'm thinking that I'll upgrade an Emerald with P/P for the upgrade, they seem to have the best overall power, but was also thinking an H/P could work, so I don't splat myself as much as I expect to. Any thoughts or preferences?

I recommend upgrading a pet you can't get as rare in any other way, or is really hard to get as a rare: Tiny Snowman / Sapphire Cub / Fel Flame

I don't disagree, but I get tired of farming. So if I'm going to use a stone, it's to get exactly the breed I want without having to screw up people who just want a rare, not a specific one.
