Recently created an Alliance character (a hunter) and can do all of the Master Pet Tamer battles (dailies and otherwise). But anytime there is a wild pet (eg. Stormwind Rat), I don't see the green paw when I hover my pointer over them. All I can do is attack. All of my other Horde characters can still do wild battles.

Right now the character is level 34. I tried disabling all addons for that character, but no luck.

The pets in the wild don't show up on the minimap with the green paw (I'm sure the option is checked). All other characters see the paw in the minimap.

I can't think of anything else to try. Anyone have a suggestion?

Never mind.

I think I just got unlucky and the critters I wanted to battle were just regular critters and it confused me. I don't normally need to collect wild pets (I have them all) and was just looking for the Big City Brawl achievement.
