i came back to play after at least 2 years , i changed servers and switched factions .
i want to do pet battles and get achievements but i can’t start the battle pet quest from Varzok in Org and i can’t even battle pet tamers like Zunta for the Taming Kalimdor achievement .
i did do battle pet quests on the alliance side before i switched to horde, i even abandoned all the alliance quests to see if that was the issue .
im confused and just wanna do the horde pet questlines and pet battle tamers for achievements but i can’t . help . -.-

OK there are two things:

1. It seems that some people are reporting similar problems

which may or may not be bugs. There isn't enough reliable info for it to be clear to me.

2. You faction changed. Factions in pets is a known irritant up through EK/Kalimdor, even without a faction change. People who tried to do some of them on their Horde character and continue on their Alliance character ended up nowhere.

I would suggest making an Alliance character, talking to Audrey at Stormwind Lake (wjo should not offer you Pet Battle training, but it would be informative if she did), then taking that Alliance character to see the Eastern Kingdome tamers, in order, to see if you can find one that has a quest for you.
